There has always been a large amount of interest in water
activities in Bucks, especially with the use of Longridge Boating
Centre,
although the introduction of the present assessment system has had a large
impact. As with all areas of activities, our aim with water assessments is not
to stop leaders and young people from participating in activities, but for them
to do so as safely as is practically reasonable.
As a result we wish to increase the instructor base for the
water team and we wish to find willing volunteers to assist in the development
of this area of activities including the running of weekends away on a club type
